This policy explains what personal data the lvagency.pt website collects, what we use it for, how long we keep it and what rights you have over it.

What data we collect and why

Contact forms

When you fill in a contact form, we collect your name, email and message. On the Contacts page form, we also collect your phone number and subject. We also record the page the form was sent from and the language you were viewing the site in.

We use this data only to answer your request and follow up on it. The legal basis is responding to your request before any contract and our legitimate interest in answering those who contact us.

The message is emailed to the geral@lvagency.pt mailbox and kept for as long as it is needed to follow up on the request. We delete it when it is no longer needed.

To stop automated submissions, the server uses the sender’s IP address in the form of an irreversible code, which expires after 20 minutes and is then deleted automatically.

Usage statistics

The site uses Google Analytics 4 to measure visits in aggregate: pages viewed, where visits come from and device type. Google Analytics uses cookies (_ga and _ga_*) and processes the IP address and technical browser data. It only loads if you accept in the cookie notice shown on your first visit. The legal basis is your consent.

You can change your choice at any time under “Cookie settings”, at the bottom of every page. If you reject, Google Analytics is no longer loaded and its cookies are deleted. Your choice is stored in your browser for six months; after that we ask again.

Language preference

The site stores the language you chose, Portuguese or English, in your browser. This information stays on your device and is not sent to us.

Technical data

Like any website, the server receives the IP address, browser type and requested page in order to deliver the pages and keep the service secure.

Who we share data with

We do not sell or hand over personal data. We use these service providers, which process the data only on our behalf:

• Amazon Web Services (Ireland): website hosting and sending the contact form emails.
• Google (Ireland): the agency’s mailbox, usage statistics and the site’s fonts.
• Typeform (Spain): the RSVP form on the convite.lvagency.pt page.

Some of these providers may transfer data outside the European Union, under the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

Your rights

You can ask to access your data, correct or delete it, restrict or object to its processing, and receive it in a portable format. Just write to geral@lvagency.pt. We reply within one month at most.

If you believe your data has not been handled correctly, you can lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD) at www.cnpd.pt.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the site changes. The date of the last update is at the top of this page.
